The year is 1926 and her next movie should be The Show Off, based I believe on a play. Eddie at this time is still asking for her hand which she repeatedly refuses. Louise plays Clara, neighbor of a friend named Joe, whose sister is to mary a man who is a liar basically a show off. Hence the name. She skips over a fence a couple of times, ( in what at that time considered very high heels.) does acouple of very cute things, with a part in the end where she is mad at her firends, sisters fiance/husband. Basically she is in the backround being the silent preasence she is in just about all of her movies. | |||||||||||||||||||

Louise made six movies in released in1926 and the next was Just Another Blonde. Then named Even Steven, it stared Dorothy Makaill and was directed by Al Santell. The day of filming Louise needed to have the day off to get married to Eddie Sutherland. The date was July 21, 1926. Two days later, she slept with her on screen lover William Collier. It has been described as a brief and spirited affair. Apparently Eddie had walked in on them, though this information is vauge. As far as the movie goes, it was given bad reviews and the incident of a pilot being killed during a test shot for the movie was kept quite. | |||||||||||||||||||

Love Em and Leave Em Louise plays the bad girl/sister Janie who steals a man (From screen sister Mame), and money (Pins it on Mame), wins prizes, loses guy (to Mame), but drives off with store owner Mr.Ginsburg. All in all the movie reviews went well. | |||||||||||||||||||
